Angela has spent over 30 years working within a finance environment. She started with Shell in their banking division soon after leaving school, in several junior finance positions working up to Foreign Payments Clerk. She then took ‘time out’ to have a family, and during that time started studying book-keeping and accounts.
After six years she managed to get back into the job market and worked locally for one of Shell’s subsidiaries, as Senior Cashier and then Fixed Asset Controller, following that as Assistant Bursar in a Surrey Secondary School for 6 years looking after all their book-keeping and introducing computerised accounts.
She joined Jackson-Scott Associates in 1999. She became a member of the Association of Accounting Technicians in 1999 having studied at evening school for two years, and was awarded Fellow Membership status in 2006. During this time she also studied Taxation and became a member of the Association of Tax Technicians in 2004 and was granted a Fellowship in 2018.
Angela now specialises in UK tax while overseeing Limited Company and Sole Trader accounts.
